Unlike traditional paper
plates, Environ™
coated paper plates have a
100% biodegradable and compostable lining .
The Paper
Board
We
have 2 paperboards to offer in paper plates.
The Pulp
for rendering paperboards are from a pre-consumer recycled waste or
from reed plantations.
This signifcantly reduces dependence on Natural Forests Systems at the
same time provides an opportunity to use recycled pulp or alternature
plant pulp like reed to render paperboards that can be used to form
paper plates with
Environ™.
The paper used to make the
board comes from
trees that are harvested sustainably and is Elemental
chlorine-free (ECF). The paperboard as well as the
Environ™
coating conforms to US FDA norms 176.170 for food packaging
applications.
The plates are available in 6", 7", 9" and 10" diameters. |
